Refund, Cancellation & Void (B2B) Policy

AMR Trip - a sister concern of AMR Air International

Scope & Governing Rules

  • Airline-first: All cancellations, refunds, reissues/date changes and voids (B2B) are governed by the operating airline’s published rules. Airlines may amend policies without prior notice.
  • Applicability: This policy applies to bookings made via AMR Trip platforms and channels.

Fees & Deductions

  • Airline charges: Any cancellation/no-show penalties, tax differentials and other fees set by the airline will be deducted from the refundable amount.
  • AMR Trip service fee: A processing/service fee applies per ticket/PNR for refunds, voids (B2B) and reissues.
  • Payment-channel fees (MFS): For Mobile Financial Services refunds, provider service/cash-out fees are borne by the customer.

Deadlines & Eligibility

  • Refund / Reissue:Submit requests at least 72 hours before scheduled departure. Late submissions follow airline rules and may be denied or incur higher penalties.
  • Void (B2B): Submit by 23:30 (11:30 PM) local time on the calendar day of ticket issuance. Not applicable for flights departing on the same calendar date as travel.
  • Non-refundable fares: If the airline designates a fare non-refundable, no refund can be issued.
  • Partially refundable services: Refunds apply only where the underlying fare/rule is partially refundable.

    Actual posting times depend on airline approval, acquirer/bank cycles, weekends/holidays and payment method.

  • Void (B2B): Submit by 23:30 (11:30 PM) local time on the calendar day of ticket issuance. Not applicable for flights departing on the same calendar date as travel.
  • Domestic flights: Typically 3–7 business days after approval.
  • International flights:Typically 3–6 weeks after approval.

Original Payment Method

    Approved refunds are credited back to the same payment method used at purchase (e.g. card, wallet, MFS). AMR Trip does not change the payout instrument.

Low-Cost Carriers (LCC)
— Important

    Many LCC fares are non-refundable and non-voidable once issued.

    Example

    IndiGo: No refund for no-show, other changes/refunds per IndiGo fare rules.

    Example

    Air Arabia: Typically non-refundable and non-changeable unless fare rules explicitly allow otherwise.

Reissue / Date Change
& Fare Differences

  • If fare or taxes increase during reissue, the customer must pay the fare/tax difference plus applicable airline fees and the AMR Trip service fee.
  • Child aging to Adult: If on the new travel date, a child crosses into adult age per airline policy, pricing follows  adult fare difference + adult date-change fee, + any other charges.

  • International: Check-in counters generally close 1.5 hours before departure.
  • Domestic: Check-in counters generally close 1 hour before departure.
  • Always follow the specific instructions on your e-ticket/itinerary and the airline’s communications.

Unconfirmed / Failed
Bookings

    If a reservation is not confirmed, AMR Trip will refund the payment to the original method and notify the customer. Unconfirmed bookings do not require replacement or compensation, any new booking is a separate transaction at then-current fares/rules.

Force Majeure

    During national emergencies, lockdowns, political unrest, natural disasters or similar events standard rules may be suspended or altered by the airline. Processing may be delayed and will follow any special carrier policies issued.

How to Submit a Request

    Submit via your AMR Trip portal (Support section), apps or email support@amrairint.com with:

  • PNR/Booking ID, passenger name, itinerary.
  • Exact request type: Refund / Cancellation / Void (B2B) / Reissue.
  • Your written consent to applicable airline penalties, fare differences and AMR Trip service fees (when required).
  • Requests are processed only after customer approval of quoted charges where applicable.

Key Reminders

  • No-show: Usually voids refund eligibility or triggers higher penalties per airline rules.
  • Codeshares / multi-carrier: May be governed by the strictest segment rule, operating carrier rules prevail.
  • Name corrections & partial-segment changes: Strictly governed by airline policy may be disallowed or chargeable.
  • Times: All times are local to the point of ticket issuance unless specified.
